Newest pro DSLRs - Canon EOS-1D Mark IV vs Nikon D3S

The Nikon D3S and Canon EOS-1D Mark IV were both just announced. A quick look at the specs and features might make them appear almost the same. I thought taking a closer look would be useful to photographers so I made a specs table comparison and broke it down a bit in this article:

What about the many other cameras that are available that can create a photograph in the same manner or quality ???

Not to mention saving thousands of dollars !! FOR INSTANCE Sony A900

In fact Sony makes the image processor for Nikon's camera !! and it is 5,000 cheaper and it is still higher in mega pixel !!

I think tooo many people buy in to the hype that unless you own a cannon or nikon you are not getting a quality camera !!

I will take a panasonic over a nikon any day of the week !! or Pentax 0r Sony or Olympus

I can do just as good of a job !! for many thousands less !!

- Sony makes the sensors for Nikon's DSLR's
- The sensor in the Nikon D3X is the same as (or very similar to) the sensor in Sony A900
- The image processor is not the same between the Sony and the Nikon.
- All the reports I've seen say that the Nikon image processor is better
- Where did you hear that Sony make the Nikon image processor? It seems unlikely to me

Well damn, I am going to double source because I read differently elsewhere, DXO does entirely RAW testing though. Any test results from a jpeg engine?

I also edited out the apparently BS i was saying, so maybe after I double source I can reiterate my original statement. Thanks for calling me out ;)
