Compact Flash Cards for Canon 350?

Just purchased a canon 350, on the spec sheet it says it takes CF I & II type cards.

    My Question is with the:

    Sandisk Ultra II : write 9MB/sec, read 10 MB/sec
Sandisk Extreme III: write 20MB/sec, read 20MB/sec

Is there any advantage of using the Extreme or will it only preform at the Ultra level in the Canon 350 DSLR??

Real life CF card speed tests for the Canon 350D are in the CF Card database, below. These are all tested values and lets you pick the best performers without wasting your money on cards the camera can't take advantage of. A quick look shows no statistical difference between the Ultra II and the Extreme III. The cards may be faster but the camera can't use the extra speed.
