Meteorites hit Norway behind the night sky

Norwegians were stunned by the SLOTXO bright meteorites that lit up the night sky in the southeast of the country.


The video shows a powerful flash over Norway. This was followed by what witnesses described as noisy on Sunday.


Norwegian police said they had received a number of emergency calls. But no injuries or damage were reported.


A team of experts are on the hunt for a meteorite that they believe fell into the woods near the capital city Oslo.


A meteor is a space rock that burns brightly after entering the Earth's atmosphere at high speed. It became known as a meteorite if it survived its way to the ground.
