DSLR 1st purchase

Hi guys/gals ... newbie here.

Joined to get advice on buying my 1st DSLR and lens(s)

I would like to use it mainly for little league baseball, soccer, etc..

Price range approx $1500

Welcome to the forum Dana.
Check out the Nikon d3200 and the d5300. A half decent starter lens might be the nikon 18-140mm lens. The Canon equivalent would be good as well. Not sure if the 18-140mm lens is ideal for your purpose, if not someone else will soon comment.
