I have no idea which one to get...

I honestly have done a lot of research on both the 20D and the D70 and I really do not know which one is going to be better for me. I have seen both and handled both, I like the looks and feel and functionality of both.
I am looking to do Landscapes, Animals and Portraiture........kind of a little bit of everything. But I am also possibly doing a wedding in the Spring, I need one that will really take good pictures. Can anyone give me their perspective on which camera they like better and why? Thank you!

    Both take good pictures

Sorry, but I will not answer your question. But, I'll give you things to think on. You need to determine what is important for yourself.

Do you currently have any lenses that would fit either?

How high in ISO do you want to go?

Is a larger MP on sensor important?

    Is spot metering important?

How fast in continuous shooting do you want?

How fast flash x-sync do you want?

    etc.

If you really like both equally, then maybe just go with the less expensive version (after accounting for additional lenses and flashes).

    Re: Both take good pictures

Thank you......after talking to my husband we have decided to go with the Nikon D70. I know that it will work for what I am doing. I appreciate you answering me. Thanks!

Re: I have no idea which one to get...

    Some points to look at:

as said below... do you have either Canon or Nikon lenses already?

    +

Nikons are inherently have more noise than Canon's.
Nikon's and associated gear is cheaper.... but quality is not as good either
Nikon service is, well, difficult at best.... look at a minmum 8 weeks being without gear if it has the need to be sent in for repair.... 3-4 weeks for Canon

Just some additional thoughts for you to consider.
