    Mine just arrived yesterday from B&H. I haven't really done anything with it yet besides playing around the house last night.

    Well.. I am opening up a portrait studio in my home. I need a good flash. I guess I just want to know that if I am goin to spend the money on it, I am going to be happy with it.

    Why not buy a studio portrait kit from Adorama, etc?

    As far as dedicated flash units for the Sony alpha go, the HVLF56AM is as good as it gets.
