Re: Incredible deals for cameras & lenses

There is a lot of discussion regarding Dell on dpreview.com canon lens forum about their deals and the problems that people have with getting the deal they ordered, some even having their orders cancelled on them, without their knowledge.

I'm not saying this isn't a good set of deals, but just advising that their could be problems.

Interesting how there are so many savings and deals for the USA but in the rest of the world, we get completely left out of the slip stream on just about everything.

Wonder why when there is supposed to be "Free Trade Agreements in Place" NOW (Sarcastic comment from me)

Thanks for posting this Liz. Some of these deals don't look too bad. Looks like they have the original price jacked up anywhere from $50-$300 over the price at B&H. So by the time you add all the Dell coupons and rebates, you do save a little bit on some of the lenses, but not as much as they are showing. Looks like the EF-S 10-22mm lens is a pretty good deal, but the EF 16-35mm lens is still cheaper at B&H, even after all the Dell discounts.

Yes, it depends on what you're looking for. I'm interested in the 10-22. I have a 65th birthday coming up next month. ;)

    Check for a pm.

I was interested in the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens (not the IS one) but the coupon has expired.

Actually the best deals I have found on lenses is through hotbuyselectronics.com and Roberts Distributors. With the first one you do need to make sure it's the USA warranty as they have different prices for each.
I have bought from both places, and they are both great to deal with.
