    Digital Rebel Xti question
I bought dh the Canon dr xti about 2 years ago and so far he has not been pleased with it. He finds it much more complicated than his old A1 (35mm) to which it was compared for ease of use.

When viewing the pictures on the back screen, the picture is small and doesn't take up the entire screen. There is a menu of some type present. Is there a way to set the camera for viewing pictures full screen?

yes, there are a few different viewing options.
I find the most useful one for me isn't the biggest picture, it's the one with the histogram of the measured light from the image. It lets me check that I got the exposure right.
Just use the DISP button to switch displays.
