DG ver. Conventional lens

    DG ver. Conventional lens
    Hello everyone. Being new to the digital world, I was hoping someone could clear up something for me.

    If I'am shooting with a nikon D200 and a 200mm conv. lens will I get the same result as shooting with a 300mm DG lens?
