    Shutter mode

I was trying to fool around with the Shutter mode on my Nikon d70s and everytime I took a picture, the result came out black. There was nothing there. I fooled around with all the options on the menu and couldn't really figure out what was going on. Can someone help!?!?

    Re: Shutter mode

What were your settings and what was the light like when you were taking the picture? If it was really dark and you didn't have a large enough aperture or slow enough shutter speed, your images would be too dark. Take a look at our basic exposure guideill help you better understand what's going on when you shoot in shutter priority, aperture priority, or manualexposure modes.
