    Bad Service In Fuji !!!

I own my Fuji S2 Pro for nearly 3 years now and ....

I repaired my Fuji S2 PRO for ERR message displyed when switched ON and I
have been charged nearly 300 US$ in Hong Kong and 6 months later, same
problem came back and could not use this camera for over 4 months now,
I cannot afford to pay again 300$US for another repair charges
although this error has been recognized as a bug in Fuji US web site in
    early beginning.

I am very disappointed with Fuji service efficiency !!!
I am decided to choose in between Panasonic DMC FZ-30 and SONY DSC-R1 for my future digital camera. I fed Up of this S2 Pro although I got very nice pictures with this camera, I prefer to use my conventional camera Nikon F100 and scan my slides with my slide scanner microtek T4000 while my digital camera is down for over 4 months now

Re: Bad Service In Fuji !!!

I've had my S2 for a little over two years and had the Err warning happen twice on startup. The AF works and the light on the top LCD comes on but the digital back on the camera is dead.

Both times (one just the other day), I pulled the batteries (AA's and lithiums). I waited five minutes, then replaced them all with new batteries - or in the case of the AA's, newly charged NiMh batteries. This fixed the problem both times. Try this the next time it happens.
