Any good online classes for dslr's
Other than a few freebies on camera manufactures sites are there any sites that anyone would reccomend to learn more about digital slr's? Other than here of course ; )
Re: Any good online classes for dslr's
Try www.photoworkshop.com It's a Canon site, (not sure what you're using) but it has some good info on it. It's been a while since I was there, but I found it to be helpfull in the past. Also, be sure to check out the new Lessons section of this site. I just noticed it yesterday, and there is a ton of great info in there!
Thanks PJ for adding the section!!

Thanks,
I've been there.
Sorry ...I have a Canon Rebel XT w/ an 18-55mm lens (I have a 75-300mm on the way). Thank you,

I've heard great things from a couple of people about Epson's on-line class although I haven't taken it myself.
Nikon School (one-day class) travels around the country, and they have two different levels (basically beginner and advanced) - but it's fast paced, and there isn't (at least with the advanced class) much of a Q&A offered. I still learned a lot from it though.
What do you want to learn?

What do you want to learn? Really, it shouldn't matter what camera you have. Cameras vary in specs, menus, and control placement. But the basic principles are the same, regardless of what camera you're using. For anything specific to your camera, the manual is the answer. You should even be able to use a 35mm SLR camera guide/book/lesson to learn. All the digital stuff is actually "workflow," or how you handle the images. And that's not really camera-specific either.
Re: What do you want to learn?
I think I'm looking for a lesson that would alow me to take better pictures by utilizing the abilities of my camera. Yes I agree any SLR lesson would do. I was asking if anyone had any recomendations. I just didn't say it well.
Re: Any good online classes for dslr's
If you have any peer2peer program (e.g. like limewire), you can download free ebooks with explinations of how to use a camera and how to post-process them. One thing to be aware of is that you have to be carefull using these peer2peer programs because it's a haven for virusses.
Re: Any good online classes for dslr's
No peer2peer here. Is it worth setting one up? Is there a large selection of ebooks? Where? When? How?
Sorry. Weird mood today.
Thanks
