AdobeRGB on the web.

I am getting really tired of converting and color correcting every single shot I want to post on the web to SRGB. When will AdobeRGB displays be standard in the various browsers? Also, any particular techniques for mimicking the look of AdobeRGB in SRGB? Adjusting saturation and levels only does so much for me.

That's life.
Lightroom is simple, set up a custom export to sRGB from RAW and then export using that. Right click, select, and go do something else for a while. Or on my new quad-code machine just carry on :)

I think never, sRGB is here to stay.
Support for detecting which colour space to use might come eventually.
But at the moment almost no-one uses Safari, I gave up with it on the PC - bug city.

As you've found, AdobeRGB has more colours, so mimicking it will mean you reduce the mid ranges to make the extremes of colour look more saturated?
There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch and I think in this case you're trying to get one.

I'm sorry I didn't mean AdobeRGB replacing SRGB in a browser, rather, as you said I meant the ability to detect and display the native colorspace of each image file.
