    What's a good camera for travel?
    My brother and his wife is going to have trip, undecided where to go, but they want to get a nice travel camera. And we have found a 5% off coupon on the camera from OnSale.com, they will get something there. What's your suggestions please?

    Five percent isn't enough to get me motivated. I require a ten percent discount to get interested. And I've never heard of OnSale.com. Like Frog said, check them out before you buy. Shopping for cameras by price is very dangerous. Take a look at out Camera Dealer Feedback Forum and you'll see what I mean.

    So, to answer your question - what's a good travel camera. That depends on a lot of things. What's the budget for the camera, what kind of photography do they plan to do with it, does it need to be small, what do they plan to do with the photos, etc. There are a lot of variables. And what might be a good travel camera for me might not be for someone else. So give us some more information and we'll give you some more direction.

    Considering this company's reviews, I may be tempted at 50% off, but not for a measley 5%.

    5% wouldnt even cover the tax here in new brunswick (13%)
    id buy from a local dealer in your town, then you know what your getting
