    Question Kodak Z712

I have a question about batteries. I know you can use the CRV3 & Klic-8000.
But I wanted to know if you can use AA batteries? On one part of kodak's site it says you can, but then when I click on the page of those batteries, the camera isn't listed as a compatible camera.

Then I went to a store the other day & one of the workers there said I shouldn't use AAs, I should use what came with the camera. (the CRV3)

    So hopefully someone can help.

here is where it says I can use the AAs:

& then the actual AA battery page, doesn't have my camera listed:

Yes you can. All AA works well but for a short time or little photos. Try 2500 or 2700.
Also remember you can use CRV3 rechargable and also non propietary Klic8000 also rechargable.

My cousin also has Z712, he just purchase couple of KLIC-8000 and K8500 charger and he says Klick8000 seem to last a lot longer in the camera than MNH batteries. I think i heard Klic8000 also works smooth with Z612 and Z812.
