vivicam 3735 problem

Ok, I just got a Vivitar Vivicam 3735 today. So i slap in the batteries and the CF card and start it up. Works perfectly. Takes pictures fine, views them fine, deletes them fine. No problems with the batteries or the memory. Then all of a sudden the LCD display goes all wonky and every picture i take is just a giant blur. The menus and stuff all work fine but the pictures are totally shot. Tried resarting, re-setting the settings, etc. No luck. No settings have been changed, so i don't see how it could suddenly just go to hell.

Any thoughts?

I don't know this particular camera, but you might try removing the batteries, wait a minute, then put in new ones.

ok, just tried that. took out the batteries. waited 10 minutes. put in different set. unfortunately, it didn't help any. same problem
