Canon's Web site indicates a operating temperature range for the 20D of 32 degrees F to 104 degrees F. I looked at several other digital product on their Web site (not just SLR's, but point-and-shoots, as well), and every one that I looked at had a low operating temperature of 32 degrees F. I couldn't really find information about the operating range of film SLR's. However, some of the film SLR's on their Web site listed a low temperature of 4 degrees F, but only in the context of shooting capacity and batteries.

What am I learning here? Does this mean that digitals are only designed to work down to 32 degrees? Can I not shoot below that temperature? What's somebody to do on the ski slopes, etc.?
