I've frequented this site for a while, and I just came across this survey:

photographyreview.com is currently near teh bottom. I just voted 5 stars for it, just posting here in case anyone else wanted to add their vote too.

Honestly, I think this site is WELL DESERVING of the 5-rating. These are the best photography-related forums I have ever come across!:thumbsup:

Plus, there is A LOT more - not just forums.

I'm a bad guy I guess. I gave it a 4. Like PJ said about gallery comments and ratings......it has to be perfect to get a 10 or in this case a 5.
It is the best but it isn't perfect....almost though.

I actually almost gave us a 4, too. I know we're not perfect. On the other hand, it's my job to be our number one cheerleader, so I gave us the 5 :D

It's so simple...?

Here are some instructions and I also attached a screenshot. Hope these help.:)

#1. Click on the link provided by slspeedster.
#2. Slowly scroll down until you see the three PhotographyReview.com boxes - all parallel to each other.
#3. Now, on the smaller box on the right you should see a text saying "Rate:" and below it 5 empty stars.
#4. Highlight the stars you want to give the rating, and then click on the last one to confirm your rating. (Highlight by sliding your mouse cursor over them).
#5. If you make a mistake - you can even change your rating afterward.

Maybe, if you want, you can also write a review on this site!:thumbsup:

I'm surprised at the negative reviews for DPreview. They do have the most extensive technical reviews.
Glad to see this one is going up the list.

Yes, they do have very good "pro reviews" - but if you take a look at the user-reviews, you'll see many poor ones.

For example, there were several for the Panasonic G1 - which still hadn't hit the stores!!!

I gave us 5, I'm pretty new here but find it is a great community and I have learned a lot

I gave pr 5 stars.

I've read tons of great info on the web. However, for whatever reasons I'm intimidated to post on most of the other forums. I see people treated not too nice sometimes.

Here, not matter how dumb my questions are or if I'm able to help someone it's always just being able to have the dialog here makes this place my #1 learning spot on the web.

I gave it a five.... I have been helped from the first day and continue to get help and advice... This is the best photography site out there....
