    Settings for Shooting Lacrosse
I have a D100 and want to take pictures of my son's lacrosse game. I have a 70-300mm lens that I plan to use. What settings would you recommend for a overcast day vs.a sunny day. I am quite a novice.

Start in shutter priority mode with a setting of about 1/500 sec. After you get a lot of stop action stuff and experience, you can get more creative.
