Samsung Sl420-can't really get action shots? Get Canon PowerShot A2000 IS instead?
New to digital photogaphy or relatively new. Had Easyshare's before.
Got a new Samsung SL420 from Walmart-tried to take action shots of dog on "Children" mode meant for fast moving objects and came out blurry-can't figure out how to manually adjust the shutter speed-only thing I can adjust is ISO settings. It allegedly has shutter speeds of up to 1/2000 of a second. Read user manual-still could not figure it out..
I may take it back and get a Canon
PowerShot A2000 IS. Would I have better luck taking shots of moving objects with that one?
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums.
Are you shooting in program mode or automatic? Pretty sure you can only change shutter speed in program mode and maybe not even then on this camera.
