Re: Panasonic TZ7 Digital camera
I have successfully captured many still and video shots using my recently acquired Panasonic TZ7 digital camera.
I have installed PHOTOfunSTUDIO on my PC.
I have been able to download all the still shots, taken thus far, from the camera to the PC.
However, I have had no success in transferring the video clips. Can anyone, please, supply me with any advice?
Thanks and regards.
Re: Panasonic TZ7 Digital camera
It's always better to transfer files via a card reader and your computer operating system's native file browser. It bypasses any possible quirks in the manufacturer supplied software. Camera makers aren't usually great software makers. I never use the supplied software that comes with digital cameras and I think you'll find that most of us on this site use card readers instead of connecting the camera to our computers.
I do have a little experience with this camera and video and I actually had some problems with the video files myself. In the US, the video standard is PAL. In most of the rest of the world it's NTSC. If you install your software with the wrong standard, the software may not recognize your video files. That's what happened to me. So check to make sure you're shooting the correct format your part of the world, and that your software is set to recognize that format. If that doesn't work, let us know and we'll try some other stuff.
Oh yeah - welcome to the site. Happy to have you :)
