Re: Question about Fujifim Finepix A800
I checked the specs here and on the Fuji Web site and I don't think it does. Some Fujifilm digtial cameras have an "f" button that offers optional color modes, including black and white. But your camera doesn't have that button and no other color modes are listed in the specs. However, there are lots of ways to change your photos to black and white and many of them deliver better quality than an in-camera mode. Not only that, but if you shoot in color and convert later, then you'll have a black and white and a color version of your image. It's possible that the software that came with the camera even offers some color conversion options.
Hope that helps. Let us know if you've got more questions. And please post a review for your camera. It's pretty new and we don't have any reviews for it yet. Don't worry about how much experience you have. We need reviews from all types of photographers. Also, if you post a review, you'll be entered in our June review contest. The prize this month is a Canon PowerShot A640 digital camera.
