Protection Plan

    Protection Plan
    Ok I know I have been asking alot of question and I think this is the last one :D
    Do you need the Protection Plan ? I have never bought a camera that cost this amount and well not sure if it is something I need?

    Oh would it be smarter to just get it through my house insurance policy

    Depends on what manufacturer you are going with and what they offer. I was told that Canon's is very limited and not very good. So, I spent the extra $100 on a B&H warranty for 3 years, unlimited on both the body and lens. I was more afraid for the lens with the auto focus and IS, too many moving parts that could break.

    If you are going to spend some coin on a camera, spend a little more to adequately protect it.
