Problem with my Kodak Z730

Help! I was taking pics with my Kodak Easyshare z730 and it froze- optical zoom out - just shut off. I removed the battery thinking it needed to be charged- charged it completely and now it still doesn't work right. I turn it on- works for about 3 seconds- green light blinks 5 times and it shuts off again. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated. :confused:

Unfortunately, it sounds like a problem that only Kodak customer service will be able to help with. You could try a different battery, in case there's actually a problem with the battery. I have had a battery suddenly go bad on me. Is there a reset button on the camera? Check your manual. If there is, that might fix it. How old is the camera? The Z730 hasn't been around very long has it?
