Ok In your messege you asked about 765-770. And now 750 so ill just give some info on all of them.

750 is one of our older ones. it has a 10x and a 4.0 mega pixel. All the 740-770 has a 10x optical.
The 765 and 770 are smaller then the 750 and they bolth have a lager screen on the back. 750 has 1.5 "" and new ones have 1.8.
The 765 right now is the worlds smallest 10x camera on market. 770 is little smaller then the 750 also but still the 765 is smaller.
The neet thing about the 2 new ones is they some how added a extra 4x optical to the camera. This is not digital but optical. It is a setting on the camera and its called supper zoom. When you put it in this mode you can only take 1600 x 1200.
The 770 has a hot shoe on it like the 750, the 765 does not.
To be totaly truthful i wouldnt get the 765. its just not as good as the 770. the whole set up of the 765 still has the old power button like the 750. While the 770 has a new switch on back that helps alot with eazy use i found out. also the 770 will rec sound with moives and it has a external mic jack wich is just neet heh.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

Warning: If im not mistaken... the C765 uses propreitary batteries... for me thats a huge drawback considering that a set of 4 Ni MH can give me close to 500 photos in the C 750 with the added flexibility of extra sets, one hour chargers and alkaline batteries

With C750 selling at a decent discount and with the same optics as 765, i wonder if its worth going for the 'latest and smallest' one ...

    yes

Yes bolth cameras the 770 - 765 come with a olympus brand battery. It is a lithium ion battery so its not a cheap one. these are the batteres that are in cell phones and laptops. They are better then NiMH batteries. Olympus uses the battery on other cameras like the stylus cameras and c-50-c-60. Yea it does kind of suck because you cant use AA Batteries but still this battery lasts pretty long and you can buy one really cheap.
