    Possible to hide pictures metadata?
Is it possible? Example: Dates and times taken, name of camera used that can be visible in programs such as Lightroom. I'm sure some people don't care either way but some people working in certain industries want that info confidential.

I've tried researching around google but I can't find anything so I'm trying camera forums.

    Thanks

If you use photoshop, I believe the Save for web function stips the Exif date from the image, but I don't know how much it removes.

Another way to remove the exif data is to open your image in Photoshop, create a new, blank document the same size and copy and paste your image into the blank document. Save the blank document and it won't have any of the original photos info attached.

I would imagine there is a program out there that will strip the exif data for you to make things easier.

    Yes, there are exif editors.
Just google exif editor and you'll get 302000 hits.
google EXIF REMOVER got over 2 million hits.
Including a program called "exif remover"
