I do insurance work. I am looking for a camera that after taking a picture it will allow me to add text to the picture. Like take a pic and label it front bedroom. Does such a camera exist? I do not need anything fancy just easy to use.

I think some I phones have aps that can do it on the spot. However there are plenty of software programs available that will allow you to add text to your photo on you computer.

I've never used the feature but I think Nikon DSLRs have a feature for adding notes to the photo. I don't know if the notes actually show on the photo.

Yes you can and it's slow and tedious, and it won't show on the photo.
It's meant for as a one time entry for the artist name and copyright / trademarks. This can be viewed with software only.
