    pixels versus enlargements
I am relatively new to digital but not conventional (wet film) photography. My question concerns pixels versus enlargments. In the past I have converted some of my 35mm slides to 16x20 prints. Will I be able to do this with digital cameras in the 7-8 megapixel range (e.g., Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ3) or should I wait for the 12.2 megapixel cameras (e.g., Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX 100s)? Thank-you

If you were happy with 35mm, scanned even (!), enlarged to 16x20, 7-8 MP is more than enough. In fact, they will probably look much better.
