Photographers I am needing help

I am looking for a camera that will give me good picture quality indoor/outdoor and at night/day. I want to get something that I will be able add a lens for up close pictures and wide angel pictures I will be going on several trips this summer Where I will be taking picture around a pool, beach and as also the sunset. I currently have a cann s3 IS, I like it but I need something that will take better pictures.

Budget? Size/weight? - TF

Just a thought, but... There is a "wide angle" lens, so-to-speak, for the S3 IS. It sort of goes on over the whole existing lens, and I'm not sure how effective it is, but it probably costs less than another camera.
