Pentax Optio 50
I bought a Pentax Optio 50 and I seem to be getting a lot of blurry pictures. Has anyone had this camera? Is there something I am doing wrong? The focus options (Std and Infinity) don't have very good descriptions in the book. When I hold the shutter half-way, sometimes the focus turns red, sometimes green, and even when I take it on green (which I assume means it is focused correctly) I get blurry pics sometimes. Is this just a crappy camera?

Tell me more
I doubt it's the camera's fault. There are different kinds of blurry. What are you taking pictures of? My guess is that you're getting motion blur, and that's not the fault of the camera. Digital cameras are so sophisticated and have so much hype that we expect them to do everything for us. They aren't that good. To get good pictures we still need to learn some technique. If it is motion blur you're getting, we can help you learn to take better pictures with your camera.
Can you post a sample?

Re: Pentax Optio 50
Its not motion blur I don't think. I think it may be low-light performance or something. The fact is, I don't think the autofocus on the camera is not all that great (I can have it on Std focus and it just will not go green saying it is focused). I am looking at getting a Nikon Coolpix 5900 to replace this camera. I cannot seem to find reviews or anything online about this Pentax, so I am going to go to this tried and true camera more than likely.
