    Panasonic TZ7/ZS3 and Mac ????
    Hi.
I want to buy a new compact mega zoom camera, and have really positive thoughts about the TZ7. But, i heard some rumors about it not working well together with mac computers.
    Does anyone have any experience?

I don't have any experience with that camera and a Mac. I did get to use the ZS3 for a day when it was announced, though. I was really impressed and enjoyed using it. I've recommended it to a lot of people since then. As far as how well it will work with any computer, I suggest bypassing potential conflicts by using a card reader. I haven't actually connected a camera to a computer for years, so I never have any computer/camera issues. A card reader will cost you about $20 and it means you don't have to load any of the software that comes with the camera or worry about drivers. Simply put your memory card in the card reader and then drag and drop your image files into whatever directory you want.

Happy I was able to help! Like I said, most of us here use a card reader. It really simplifies things. You don't need to carry a bunch of cables with you and you don't need the manufacturer software loaded on a computer to download photos.

I've had a lot of card readers and off-brands have been less than reliable for me. I would stick with Lexar or SanDisk.
