optimus 5.0 megpexi usb AV cord

hi everyone

as a frustrated owner of a year old replacement radio shack brand optimus 5.0 megpexi digital camera, i just wondered if there anyone out there who has experience any problems with your UBS Port flathead AV cord that connects the camera to your computer ie getting a error popped up like this one?- "usb port hub had exceeded its limits" i have no clue as to whatever that means. up to last year the camera work just great and i was able to upload my pictures from my vacation, and i have not been using it all that much, i had several suggestions from this board btw thanks to those who help me, i brought new batteries, tooked some "test" shots" i plugged the camera in to the computer moments later i endedup getting the error that i mention i get the same error when i used every ubs port i have. the odd thing is that all my stuff USB supported and they all worked just fine, as i mention before i borrowed my nieces kodak camera i took some test shots and up loaded the picture with no problem, this proves that my ports are funtioning great! i dont know its the camera itself or the cord, i found it odd that i had 2 cameras that worked for abit anded up having problems im at my wits end about i hate to go back with it and they wont give me a new one any help or advice that yoy can give is greatly appreciated im sorry for being long winded

I'm not sure of what is causing this problem, but I may have a work around.

If you can't upload the data right from the camera, how about using a card reader?

I would dump the camera in the nearest bin and buy a decent one.
Sorry to sound brutal, but you've had three of them and all three have failed.
I would take the hint and buy something that works, maybe a Kodak like your niece's.

I second Wombat's suggestion (there is a reason his name has smart in it) and add that you should read the reviews on here to find something that you will like.
If the Optimus were a camera that it is possible to write a review for on here (it doesn't look like it is) I would also suggest doing that. try to steer others away, possibly check out e-pinions or somewhere else to see if you can voice your opinions on what sounds like an overly faulty camera.

Thank's guys for your input it means a great deal to me, i tooked your advice and pitched both the camera and the USB flathead cord into the trash. and ordered myself a fujiflim digital camera. i should be getting it either this week or next week i will let you know If its works or not i do say thats a Very Big IF! lol wombat, its ok i dont mind you being brutal. honesty, i think who ever builds optimus cameras should be told their camera Sucks! and radio shack should never put these cameras out for sale.
