    Olympus D-490 question
    Hello everyone!

    I am wondering if I can use other media cards in this camera. The manual says to use the Olympus cards called Smart Media. Will other cards work? We found a Fuji Film card called XD-Picture Card. It says it is compatible with all XD digital cameras. Will this work for my camera?

    You can only use cards that are clearly marked as SmartMedia. It does not matter who makes it. The other cards, xD, CF, etc. are totally different and won't fit your camera.
