    Non-OEM Batteries for Canon D10
Ok, I need to buy more batteries for my 10D (BP511). Has anyone had any luck with 3rd party, non-oem batteries? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated?

I've got one for my D70...cheapo for like $8 on ebay. Honestly, I haven't ever needed it, but I have shot a few days with it in, just to test it, and it has worked perfectly. Just make sure that you get a battery that is the same voltage as the bp-511 (I think it's 7.4v, just like the D70 battery), but the more mAH the better...I also think that Canon put out a better battery with the 20d, the BP-511A, which is just a BP-511 with increased mAH.
