New SLR????????

Hi everyone I am selling my fuji finepix S7000 and want to move on to SLR. My budget is £300 and i'm not too bothered in buing second hand. Can anyone recommend a camera in this bracket

Do you want a lens with your camera? If so, ~520 USD may be cutting it a bit close in price. For about 600 USD you could get a used Canon Digital Rebel (6MP) with kit lens, or for 720 USD you could get a new Nikon D50 with kit lens. Both would be a good basic system. But be careful. Once you get started buying SLRs, lenses, etc, remember that "photography is as addictive as crack, and twice as expensive."
