New S1 IS View Finder Problem
Just bought a new Canon S1 IS after dumping older A80 into the river. Was hoping to have all the enjoyment from older cam with this one. Problem is, when using the view finder to focus on a shot, the image looks dark, bluish and almost pixel like.Even the LCD monitor does this. Is this a common problem with this camera? Or do I have something in my settings not quite right? The old A80 was crystal clear through the view finder and monitor.

first, did you change ANY of the settings for the lcd, or monitor in the cameras settings?
If you did, or think you may have, I'd start by loading the default settings and see if that solves the issue.
If it doesn't, I'd call the manufacturer, and ask them, if that is a common issue with that camera, and if they can help you fix it over the phone (or even through email)
