    New needing advice

    Hi
    Im buying my grandson a simple pocket camera and have decided these 2 are in my budget since Im on a fixed income. can anyone help me to pick the best one.

    Both cameras appear to very similar in all areas.
    If sharing photos is important get the EasyShare, if not toss a coin.
    I'm sure he will appreciate and enjoy either one.

    The L22 and L24 are being sold for roughly the same price.
    I'd suggest getting the newer L24 over the older L22.

    How old is your grandson? If you expect that delicate equipment might be a hazard with him, look at the Fuji XP10 - a very rugged and affordable camera. It has shock resistent casing and its water proof (to like, 6 or 10 feet). Amazon and ebay has those going for about $100, retail stores around $120.

    If thats out of the budget, maybe pick up an Canon powershot A540, those are going on ebay about $50 and would provide a better experience.
