new member needs help

Hey, i'm new to thie board, i would like to know what camera in the 400-800 range is good for low light shooting, i'm asking because i had a panasonic fz3 but aint so good in that kind of setting, so i sent it back and now looking for another.... anyone can help me out would be great, also needs to be atleast 6x-10x zoom pixels can be 3 or up

Can you tell us what you didn't like about the Panasonic FZ3's low-light performance? What were you trying to photograph and what about the results was unacceptable? The reality is low light is probably the toughest thing for any digital camera to deal with. And compact digital cameras are especially weak in this area. Knowing exactly what you're having trouble with will help us give you better direction.
