New High End Compact - Panasonic Lumix LX5

I still want compact cameras that will fit in my pocket. But I do think there's a place for this camera. It will be interesting to see how Canon counters this as their G-Series is the main competition for Panasonic's LX-Series cameras.

Yeah, I heard that this goes up to iso 12,000 or something. The sensitivity of these sensors is getting crazy good.

You didn't read the article, did you? :)

It goes to ISO 12,800. But I don't think I'd go over ISO 1600. Usable ISO 1600 is impressive for a compact camera, though.
