SONEY DSC T300 or T500 or T700.

Hi Folks,

I want to buy a good Sony camera. I already have a digital Canon SLR, but since its too big, I just want to buy a small just a digital camera to take it in my pocket. I am looking to buy Sony's T series. But I found there are 3 types, One is T300, other one is T500 and the other one is T700.

I want the picture to be of GOOD QUALITY and I am NOT at all interested in having a BIG memory. Rather I would buy a MEMORY CARD.

When I compared T300 with T700,

T700 is Optical 4 but T300 is optical 5 and same with T500. T700 is having 4GB in-built memory, but that will NEVER increase the quality of the picture. Once again I want to mention I am NOT interested in having a big in-build memory. I NEED to get good quality pictures at beach/lanscape/sun light/ low light.

Could you please throw some ideas on which could be the right one for me. I can spend upto 450 Canadian Dollars.

in previews the T700 has an insanely sharper Xtra Fine LCD that produces a total of 921,000 pixels, packing four times the resolution of the T500. So that makes quite a difference during photo previews.

the T500 is really for someone who wants to video things as well (for an hour to be precise) but I really do love the T700.

here's another dilemma, what about the Sony Cyber-shot W300 DSC which is 13.6-megapixel and comes this May? its got better quality than T700 as backed up by its MP count.
I don't know what to do myself. Technology evolves so quickly its hard to buy things!

I have bought Canon SX 110 IS a few days ago. I haven't opened it yet. But I got to know from others, thats it is better. Shall let you all know about the picture quality.
