This is a gift for a friend.
She has a digital camera already but it is pretty basic point and click stuff. She basically wants to be able to take good photos, which i guess means a camera with a bunch of manual settings you can play with as opposed to standard point and click. Her current camera is a couple of years old
I don't know anything about digital cameras other that more mega pixels = higher quality. I know there are stacks of other things to consider, lense quality etc etc.
So what should i be looking into? Digital SLR is obviously way above budget, but some kind of hybrid?
