need advice

Hi

I am a total beginner to digital cameras and know zero about the quality of different brands etc.

I have read some of the articles here and considered what I need to buy regarding megapixels and optical zoom etc. I will be using the camera mainly foir recreational use...ie pictures while socialising or on holidays, or family occasions etc.

I list below some models which are in my price range and which I believe are suitable for what I shall be using a digital camera for.

Any advice regarding the quality in particular of any brand and models below which ye recognise would be greatly appreciated...ie. are Casio a more reliable brand than Fuji and vice versa, etc.??
