Need Advice

I have traditionally been using Nikon SLR cameras, an FA, F-801 and an F4 and have been very happy with all 3. On occasion I also use a Nikon Coolpix 5700 and a Sony Handycam for the quick shot or Mpeg.

I'd like now to progress to a digital SLR and would appreciate if someone could tell me which one I should get, I'd like something comparable to the F4, I've been reading up on the D300 which seems quite good and allows me to use all my Nikon lenses. I enjoy taking black & white as much as colour pics. Any advice on which digital SLR would be appreciated. Thanks

The d300 is the best you can get unless you want full frame sensor and to spend a few thousand more.
