    memory cards
    Hi
I'm sorry to have to ask this question which probably has been asked a million times before, but why are some people down on the Sony memory card?
Just curious as always and still looking for my digi camera. LOL
    Thanks agan

No one really needed another memory card format using a proprietary system. It just added revenue to the Sony stream but made no improvements to what already existed.

The problem with the Sony Memory Stick is that it only works with Sony cameras. So if you buy a bunch of Memory Stick cards and then later buy a Canon, you'll need to buy all new memory cards. It's just Sony's way of trying to lock you into their system and only sell you their stuff. Aside from that, they pretty much work just as well as any other kind of memory card.

    Thanks
I have been looking at the new Sony H-5. Trying to use my gift certificates for Staple, but they don't carry Panasonic. Still have to ask if they can order in the Sony or the new Kodak Easyshare 612.

As Grandpaw suggested I will comply. (Agree with Grandpaw by-the-way).
Alway grateful for any and all input I get from members.
    Thanks again!
