Looking for camera

I am looking for a camera that u can put special effects on photos using the camera. A former co-worker of mine had one she could put a smile on the face, or starbursts on photo. I think it was a sony or a cannon but I could be wrong. If anyone knows what I'm talking about it would be helpful. Thanks
