    seeking identification

I am now in the mkt for a digital P&S. I'm specificcally interested in a unit with an onboard Hi-contrast capture setting. I saw one a few yrs ago but can't recall the brand. Rather than read the specs on every camera out there I'm hoping some kind reader will advise.
    Thanks

hi-contrast meaning wide dynamic range? im sorry but im unclear as to what you mean by high contrast. you dont usually want things very contrasty because it loses low light and high light detail.

    Re: seeking identification

Pardon my ignorance. What I want is a camera with the ability onboard to capture a B&W image in high contrast, showing absolute white and black without any intermediate grey tones. I saw this feature offered as a photo effect along with the std sepia, chrome etc. Hope I made sense. Tanks for trying to help.
