    need help
    kodak digital camera 40 (really old)
    hello,
    my friend recently gave me a digital camera that looks like it's probably the first one ever made and i am having troubles getting the pictures from the camera to the computer. i found something on the internet that says i need a program called Kodak PhotoEnhancer. if anyone has any ideas on where to get this or another way around this problem please let me know

    Welcome to the forum. I love your user name!!! Once you have your camera or memory card or whatever it is you have the photos stored on, connected to your computer, it should show up as another drive. You should be able to find that "drive" going thru explorer (finder on a Mac) and copy and paste those files to your hard drive. If that doesn't work... I would check out Kodak's website. They might have the software available to download.

    Well, what Michael said. But also if you use XP it connecting the camea should bring up the camera scanner wizzard. You could try for the external drive aswell. Just curious, what media does it use? Can you give us a model name/number?
