Just purchased FZ20 and have many ?'s

Having owned a Olympus 750, I just purchased the FZ20. Haven't taken many photos but from what I see, they are not as crisp as my Oly photos were. I usually just use auto, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I like my photo to be clear, and they seem to be hazy, what am I doing wrong, should I go to the smaller FZ10, less mp's. Thanks!

Try messing with the contrast and saturation settings and see if that gives you something you like. Some cameras are set like that normally because many consumers like cantrasty, oversaturated shots.
You should be able to do levels and curves adjustments on the photos you have and get something you like. I would think that the FZ10 would be similar to the FZ20.

I appreciate your help so I went and practiced and came back with no good photos. They all seem to have a haze over them and definitely not clear. I tried P mode and manual and nothing, the photo seem blah, any other suggestions.

Can you post a shot and the exif data from it?

Does the preview in the screen look OK?

Is the focus switch on the left side of the lens in the AF position?

I've just sold my FZ20 but I can say that I've never had this problem, here are a couple of shots I took up to recently, are yours as clear as these?
