So, hello. Thought asking this would possibly help me out if other people have been on the edge of buying either one of these cameras. I have already ordered A530 but as I now got to know about L50's great video abilities and big screen, I began to hesitate.

I have owned Powershots A60 and A510, which have been good, even great, tho rather slow on taking pictures. Nice wheel they've had for choosing shooting modes which seems to be lacking on the L50 as does the zooming lever on the forefinger but I think those are not so big deals. How about manual shooting modes on L50 and picture quality/ shooting feeling? Can you point out any disadvantages on L50 since I found it on same price as A530 and it has that big screen and much better sounding video abilities. There has got to be some downsides, which only users may have encoutered.


I'd hate to do the bad choise, so I'll very much appreciate good point-outs .
