iew digital camera screen on pc
I bought a UFO ds 1060 10.1 megapixel digital photocamera with ability to do video. The problem is that to view "live" feeds from the camera the cables look like so:

please forgive the out of focus image :)
with USB It just appears as a flash-drive from which I can copy files.
Is there any converter cable/ device to allow me to connect these to my pc? I have a nvidia 8600GTS if that helps. Atm I can only view live feeds on my TV.

Re: iew digital camera screen on pc
what you need is a TV tuner.
such as this one
Unfortunately, for any quality, you'll have to pay quite a bit and you wont be able to get a high resolution image
You'd probably be better off getting a USB webcam.

I have 2 usb webcams :) any cheaper way of connecting it though? Like a pci-device or something, or a cable?
Re: iew digital camera screen on pc
Like most compact cameras, the live view is a video feed to a TV.
If the camera doesn't have software to use the USB to display pictures, then no - youcan't display it on your PC.
Unless you put a TV card in your PC that also has video inputs so you can watch video on your PC as well as broadcast TV.
My minolta A1 had an extra software package for £50 to do show live feed, with remote shutter release via USB.
Canon have something similar too.
But when you buy a cheap camera you often don't get those features.
